How Was Your Day
“How was your day?” So many of us underestimate the meaning and value of this question. Day after day, week after week, some are living for the start of the weekend instead of living in the moment they’re in — wasting time and energy resenting their current situation.
So, how was your day? Truly think about it. What did you accomplish? What went undone? Forgotten? Did you have any wins or losses? All of these questions add tremendous value to how you start and end the next day.
Make a conscious effort to dig into the events of your day. Don’t just follow a calendar schedule because it is there. What meaning does it hold? Peel back the layers of time you’re spending on menial tasks and recognize whether they add value or hinder you.
If you’re looking to be productive and achieve set goals, you have to ask “How was your day?” — and if the answers lack real reason to continue along a path, make the necessary adjustments so the next day isn’t the same.
