I Hear You…

**B**rother take my hand, I know you are weary. These days are cold, and nights are dreary. Long and filled with pain. Lean on me, let me shoulder some of the pain.

**L**et me hold you sister, there is security here. I will never judge you for the color of your skin, or the texture of your hair. I will be a knight, I don't need any shiny armor. I am a warrior for you, mothers, sisters, and daughters.

**A**ll that you have been through, it's ok to cry. Just know that I love you. I am by your side.

**C**all on me when you need me, I hear every word you don't speak. But I will never silence you. I'll protect you through this heartbreak.

**K**ings and queens we are. I promise, they'll see. Until then just know, I got you, and I know you got me.
