Lead by Example
I was asked the other day by a friend, “Mega, why are you always so positive?” The question was posed in a manner suggesting there was something wrong with my positive outlook on the world. I simply responded: “Negativity — will it help?”
Every day we face a wall of choices. The decisions we make around those choices, in whatever manner they are presented, determine the opportunities afforded to us and to those we care for.
Never forget: someone who looks up to you is always watching. Be mindful of the energy you exude, the words you speak, the decisions you make. It can change a life. Yours, or someone else’s.
Lead by example. A leader isn’t chosen by the words he speaks or the price of his material possessions. A leader is someone who knows his actions hold weight — and though they may be heavy at times, he never drops them on someone else.
A leader’s actions are the example of how he molds the world around him.
Lead by example.
