Don't Forget
With everything going on in the world — political turmoil, aggressions of racism that lead to marches and boycotts, stock market roller coasters, pandemics, and more personal familial matters — don’t forget.
Don’t forget to breathe. To see that the majority of the world is made up of good people and wonderful things. Don’t forget to tune out the social and network media and actually be in the moment with those around you who have given you the opportunity to share their time, and parts of their lives.
Don’t forget to luster in your glories. To enjoy the spring rains and summer joys, and gather fresh air into your lungs. Notice the flowers blooming. Don’t let the moments you work so hard to have time to see pass right before your eyes.
Don’t forget: technology is not a replacement for humanity.
Pay attention. One day it will all be gone. So will you and I.
