I Don't Want To…

I don't want to reach for this success again. I want to grasp it for as long as I can.

The past couple of days have been tough. Maybe you’ve been dealing with personal issues, or your professional life isn’t as uplifting as you’d like. Or maybe everything is the total opposite. Life is great. At home things flow smoothly. In the office you are a fine-tuned mastermind. So much so that you’ve gotten into a groove, and now there are things you just don’t want to do.

Sometimes there’s so much going on — or so little — that you start to feel like you don’t want to do the daily tasks that keep you on track for the long term. These are the things that supplement your success and maintain your foundation.

When you start to get a case of the I don’t want to’s, remember to tell yourself: I don’t want to fail. I don’t want to start over because I didn’t maintain momentum. I don’t want to reach for this success again — I want to grasp it for as long as I can.

You’ve worked this hard to set goals and achieve them. I don’t want to see you forget: level of effort equals opportunity.
