Take the Filter Off
Ever find yourself not making any progress? You’ve been attacking something for years, and you always seem to drop the ball and say you’ll pick it up at a later date? That sounds like procrastination — and procrastination has extremities.
Procrastinating doesn’t necessarily mean you aren’t a motivated person, or that you’re incapable. Sometimes it just means you’re being lazy about it. Sometimes you hold off because of an internal fear of failure, self-doubt, or worry that someone won’t like it. Something small and trivial, yet it’s holding your progress hostage.
Well, it’s time to take the filter off. Look yourself in the face and be 100% honest. Others will tell you what you want to hear. Some will tip-toe around the truth and offer little white lies to pamper your feelings. You need to remove the filter, give yourself a real pep talk, and step up so you can stand out.
Take the filter off and start to feel the energy of your emotions set you in motion.
