Loss & Love
The Long Road
She is strong. She is a fighter. She has persevered.
I am strong. I am a fighter. I have persevered through many things. But I was afraid.
So I could only imagine Annie’s fears when at 29 years of age she was diagnosed with stage two triple negative breast cancer.
Life changed. I felt helpless watching someone I love and care for go through it. What went from a daily dose of positive energy filled with smiles and laughter turned into chemo treatments, radiation, and surgeries. Life changed. But Annie Marra stood tall and began her walk on that long road to kicking cancer’s ass.
Four years later, she is cancer free, and continues to live.
She is strong. She is a fighter. She has persevered. She was afraid, but she walked that long road, and continues the walk.
