The Tough Part

Step away from the excuses. The weight of mediocrity only seems easier.

Fighting it. Fighting it some more. Throw in a few obstacles here, a few obstacles there. One excuse, two excuses. Yea, that sounds about right. It’s Monday, and you’ve been putting off starting a new project in your life for a long time now. Days, weeks… years.

I get it. You’re at the toughest part of the process: starting. We all have been there. We make so many excuses as to why we haven’t gotten things into gear and started working on being the best version of ourselves. Every day feels like a struggle to kickstart the right attitude and muster the energy to be great.

But here’s the thing. It gets easier. The tough part is starting. So put the scapegoats down. Step away from the excuses. The hard part in starting a new journey is putting down the weight of mediocrity you’ve been holding onto because it seems easier. Seems normal. It’s not. It’s bad for your health. Let it go.

Step up and stand out for you. Then you can make this success thing look easy.
