The Burden of Self Doubt

Self doubt is a nasty counter-tool. Leaping can be scary.

You’ve worked hard. You’ve put forth a lot of effort to open new doors to new opportunity. Then the opportunity presents itself and — boom — you doubt if it’s for you.

There may be a few underlying reasons. Maybe you feel you’ll be burning a bridge. Maybe you believe you’re not ready for the success train to take you where you want to be. Leery of stepping forward through that door because you’ve failed in the past. Whatever it is, the burden of self doubt is heavy.

Self doubt is a nasty counter-tool many use to boost their confidence in the excuses and scapegoats they’ve made for not leaping forward. Leaping can be scary. Don’t ever doubt your ability. You’ve put in the work. You’ve taken the time to get this far by being everything you needed to be — and one of those things is strong.

Don’t let self doubt be the obstacle that derails your run to success.
